In Memoriam

NAFIC recognizes those members who have passed away and offer deepest condolences to their family, friends and clients. 

Helge Aursland, FIC passed away on April 30, 2017 in Jensen Beach, FL.  Helge was with Sons of Norway and was also a NAFIC Past President.

John C. (Jay) Schenk, FIC, CSA, CFFM passed away March 7, 2017 at home in St Charles, MO.  Jay had served with National Catholic Society of Foresters, Catholic Order of Foresters, and Catholic Knights of America.  He was formerly the Secretary of the Fraternal Field Managers Association for many years.

James "Jimmy" Stachura, Jr FICF, MDRT of Knights of Columbus passed away February 11, 2017 at Pulaski, Wisconsin.

J. David Butler, FICF, LUTCF of Western Fraternal Insurance passed away on October 6, 2016 in Iowa City, Iowa

Foster Jason Fender, FICF of WoodmenLife passed away on August 7, 2016 in Willacoochee, Georgia.

Randall Quiring, CLTC formerly of Catholic Financial Life passed away on July 27, 2016 at his home in Fairmont, Minnesota.

Peter Schmitt, Jr.  Past NAFIC President and Executive Secretary passed away on July 15, 2016 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Mark D. Skyles, of Waterloo, Iowa and Catholic Order of Foresters passed away on July 7, 2016 due to an automobile accident.

Corwin Freeman Jr LUTCF, CSA RFC, of Elgin, Illinois and First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association passed away on May 14, 2016 

Paul M. Stadler, Vice President of National Mutual Benefit passed away on February 4, 2016 in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Jack Kinder Jr. of co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of Kinder Brothers International

Bonnie Drzewiecki FIC of Catholic Financial Life passed away on September 2, 2014.  Bonnie lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Ernest C. Bevins of Greater Beneficial Union (GBU) passed away April 16, 2014.

Michael Irwin of Knights of Columbus (KofC) passed away April 22, 2014  Michael was the Vice President of the Michigan Chapter NAFIC.

James J. Neuhardt FICF of Western Fraternal Life Insurance passed away January 21, 2014.
